This weekend i am participating in a christmas market, so i thought it would be fun to turn some of my inktobers into greeting cards - and here they are! :D
Last year i discovered the inktober challenge, but i didn't have time to participate then. I did this year! Even though i only had the time to do 11. Still so much fun!
A while ago i did this painting based on a photo from instragram - it's a girl with pink hair called "mermaidens". She has such lovely pink hair! i just had to try and paint it, but i forgot to make it more curly though.

This one is only gouache on watercolor paper. I never used gouache before and i must admit i like watercolor best still, but i liked working on this and i really like mixing it with watercolor! :) It was really fun to make these paintings, i forgot how fun it is to work non-digitally.
I am sorry about the lack of posts on this dear old blog. It's not because I haven't been drawing :)
A little while ago i was experimenting with mixed media. So i made a couple of mini paintings and this one is a mix between watercolor and colored pencils. I should try out different watercolor paper too!
Hello everyone, i'm very excited to tell you about my new shop! There's still more prints to come in the future, and if you want one that isn't there, just comment on this post or write me an email and i'll add it to the shop:) Please feel free to take a look at my shop HERE :D
I did some dress designs for my portfolio, that i haven't finished yet. So many dresses! And then i pondered a bit and thought about how i never use any texture in my drawings, because i'ts really difficult to make it look "natural", but i tried anyway, and i think i might actually like it!?
This is the last one from week 3, haha. I think i liked the idea behind this week, but i got a little lost in this one, not really keeping it simple enough - i originally had the background a lot brighter and greener, but when i looked at it today, i tried making it darker to make it match the indigo one a bit more, and i think this is much better! So now i might even begin to like this! But i like the way it's the same pattern for everything. I also tried out blur and gradients, ha! I dont think that's for me, but it was fun to try:)
I wanted to do another #7daysofcolor last month, but i didnt get very far! I guess i can post the ones i did. The thought behind this week was to make them more graphic, and to use patterns (of course!) but this time only one pattern, but used in different ways.
While unpacking the last tiny bit of my stuff to make room for a little "office adjustment" in our living room, i found some old sketchbooks and discovered a couple of the most AMAZING FACES IN THE WORLD! So i just had to use one of them right away - it was supposed to just be black, white and red, but somehow i always end up squeezing in more colours..
I was going to try an experiment with the pattern on a different drawing, but then i started drawing this one, and i am so happy - it turned out just how i hoped! happytimes! :D
I wanted her to read something, instead of the book having just blank pages, so i wrote a text and used google translate to turn it into Latin.
I found a bunch of old drawings i never posted anywhere. This is one of them - july 2014. It's from a time when i just discovered the phenomenon of zentangles. Which for a pattern lover like me is like a piece of paradise!
I'm currently working on a project, that somehow became PRETTY elaborate. A LOT to do and not much time :( But it's moving forward even though it's happening really really slowly. 8 Biker ladies. I had fewer in mind, but.. you know.
