for TAW-Monkey - i thought about this for very long, and i couldnt figure out how to compose the characters. so i decided to draw each character seperately and paste them into the final picture (.... great idea....) which was quite a puzzle. but the good thing was that i could group them on new layers, which made them much easier to colour!

self study

today we finish 2 weeks of SELF STUDY. I had some old assignments that i needed to finish to get the points i need to graduate, which i were unable to do at that time because of my tennis elbow - my box lift assignment and my parkour assignment. so one week for the box lift and one week for the parkour.

PARKOUR- I decided to do a new one. the last one was this. and since i only had a week to do it, i decided to do the scene from Twilight: New Moon where jacob does some parkour, in stead of spending time on creating something spectacular from my imagination.

BOX LIFT - i had done half of this already, but i had to do some inconvenient changes in the beginning, such as changing the arms from FK to IK - why i ever thought it was such a brilliant idea to do it with FK arms back then, i have absolutely no idea. I am still not particularly happy with this, but at least it's more finished now than it was before.

i had to take a photo of this because it was drawn in someone else's book - it's a drawing for skarresøforeningen, which was done while i was there yesterday.

2) whenever i try something new, i end up doing something pretty similar to what i could have done some years ago - which means, that it's new compared to what i draw at the moment, but it's not really new.
i think i need to go about it in another way.

filmjam bits

week 6, 2010: all 1st and 2nd year students at our school did a FILM JAM project together. we were divided in 6 groups, each with a director from outside, and my director was the estonian PRIIT TENDER. our group was subdivided into two groups, because we were about 15 people, and the two films we did are connected in the same universe and put together, and looping in the end. so i guess it's more like, one group did the first part of the film and the other group did the last part of the film.

and these are the scenes i did. as always we had 5 days and a "30 seconds-1 minute" time limit. when i exported this in premiere just now, it seems like i did something strange to cause the shadow-frame-thing when the movie plays (if it's present in this one) - i dont understand that programme. but anyway, i thought it looked kinda cool anyway, so i didnt bother fixing it.
