power outage

today viborg had a citywide electrical cut, and because of some network connection issues, we spent about 2 hours waiting for the computers to get work-ready again. it was pretty cosy, though :)

this is an illustration for one of Skarresøforeningen's new projects "the new land". (some of the main goals are to become self-sufficient and learn about cultivation.)
i like it, all the beautiful colours! but maybe the shadow is a bit too big.. but whatever. i'm not going to change it!

okay, so i continued the fire from yesterday:

recently i updated my things-to-draw-list and it became very very long.

so i decided to make it shorter by drawing as much as possible today.

and i did these 6 drawings - each drawing took approximately 1 hour to draw.

all of the drawings here are based on a sentence from the stories we're making for fun in our class room in school, where we write one word each (or the rule is that you can't write 2 words in a row) which creates some amazing sentences! (and stories!)
