the last friday croquis

i found them. 

more croquis.

i went to evening croquis once again, and found it more difficult than last week - i dont know if it's because we havent drawn all day (we're having 3 days of acting class) or if is just the curse of croquis in generel. anyway, at the drawing school they always said "croquis should be fun! so make it fun!" so when i couldnt just continue the style i did last monday, i decided to draw the model the way i once drew Hans. that was the first day i ever had a really good time drawing croquis at TDA - i wonder where i put those, maybe i should see if i could put up some of them.

as i said, i tried to make another version of mutated animals. though they are not all as easy to read, these are the members of my class at KAU. somehow the colouring on this one ALSO gave my quite a hard time, but it's always hard to choose the colours. i started out with pink, and ended up in green. anyway, this is the second try and the only thing that annoys me now, is that christians blue butterfly is exactly in the center of the picture. hm....
oh, and i think this is the first time ever i've given myself orangey hair... :/ usually i make it light pink.

a little som'thin' som'thin'

Today i attended evening croquis, for the first time since.. a million years ago, and i was so happy, that i couldnt resist putting up some of the drawings i did.  i didnt realize i've been missing croquis that much! they are pretty off model though, but maybe that's a good thing - keep the model anonymous!

i dont know if i like this one or not. just a doodley thingy.. next week we have the theme: mutated animals. a subject that didnt inspire me at all, but i tried anyway.. hm maybe i'll make another one, sometime.

Dagens mand i skysovs.

another danish expression: the man of the day in gravy. but skysovs could mean two things: gravy OR sauce made of clouds. to be the man of the day in gravy means that one has done something that qualifies for a tribute.

skidne grønne grise.

"at skide grønne grise" - it's an expression in danish. "to be shitting green pigs" - i think it means that you are really scared, but i'm not a 100% sure. i've just been thinking it could be fun to illustrate some of those strange expressions. tried to colour it in a different way than usual.

"if we want it, it's right"

well, this is an assignment we did in school. frankenstein.

i'm not sure which one is the final one. it feels like it's still a work in progress. and will be forever.
